Stresa Ferries, Lake Maggiore
From Stresa, the easiest way to explore Lake Maggiore is by local ferry. In the immediate area (the Borromean Bay) there are regular ferries running every 30 minutes all day from around 08.00 until around 18.00. You can download the timetables below.
The best way to explore the Borromean Bay is using a "Rover Ticket" which allows you to hop on and off the ferries all day. Current prices range from €13.80 to €20.70 depending on which area you wish to cover.
You can also purchase a "Super Saver" ticket which differs from the traditional Rover Ticket in that you must make stops in a certain order. But it does save you money. Current prices range from €9.60 to €13.90
